Saving is explicit. This browser supports up to 20 workbooks, each up to 2 MB, 5,000 ledger entries and 100 calculation records, subject to available browser storage. Clearing browser data can remove them. Download a backup regularly. No figures are sent to analytics.
A restored file opens for review. Select Save on this device to keep it here; existing saved work is not silently replaced.
Workbook editor
Use positive amounts for costs or outflows, negative amounts for credits or reversals. Totals are signed ledger amounts, not automatically revenue or profit. Do not mix estimated and actual costs without separate category labels.

Calculation and planning records
Calculated snapshots preserve the inputs, method version and results from that moment. Recalculate with current data before relying on an old result. Complex planning tools retain their native editable files; open the original tool and use its import control to continue editing.
Cloud Workbooks
Cloud saving and cross-device access
Cloud Workbooks is being prepared as a separate paid service. Local saving, templates and editable downloads work now. Existing paid project and job saves continue in their original workspaces; they do not yet grant Workbooks cloud access. No new subscription is charged here.
Cloud activation, pricing, record limits and retention will be published before checkout is enabled.
Standard templates and calculation processing
Download a blank template or a separate illustrative example. Keep headings unchanged. Dates use YYYY-MM-DD, amounts use decimal points, and quantity units must be explicit. CSV files contain values, never executable spreadsheet formulas.
Connect a calculator, feasibility or planning tool
Transparent totals and reusable records
Ledger money is summed in integer cents. Quantities with different units are not added together. No currency conversion, accounting reconciliation, tax filing or bank connection is implied. Templates and calculations remain free. Do not upload passwords, recovery codes or payment-card information.
Saving on a device is not a backup. Keep downloaded copies privately. Only an explicit future cloud-save action will send workbook contents to BusCalc storage.
