How this calculation works
shift net = driver receipts - entered vehicle cost - other shift expenses; net/hour = shift net / full work-session hours
Use the amount shown to the driver; it may already include tips or platform deductions. Add only amounts not already included. Include pickup, delivery, waiting and allocated unpaid return travel. Results are before income taxes and describe the supplied scenario, not promised platform earnings. Use app statements and your own time/mileage records for the same session. Active or engaged time alone can omit unpaid waiting. Receipts may already be after platform fees; do not deduct those fees a second time. Not a tax deduction calculation.
