How this calculation works
converted quantity = entered quantity × source-unit factor / destination-unit factor
Area and volume are different dimensions. A square-foot quantity cannot be converted to cubic yards without a depth; use a material-volume calculator for that. Uses international feet and inches, not historical US survey-foot land records.
